Digitaler Kurs

Numerical methods relevant to physics are learned, and applied to specific physics problem. Physics concepts are deepened thorough the applications of numerical methods.
CP I from the HU Bachelor degree or equivalent previous knowledge, preferably experience with Matlab, Python or C.
Structure / topics / contents
Eigenvalues, Fourier transform, Quantum Mechanics, Chaotic systems, Monte Carlo methods.

4 SWS, 6 SP/ECTS (Arbeitsanteil im Modul für diese Lehrveranstaltung, nicht verbindlich)
Assessment will be based on a portfolio of projects.
The course will be held in English. Interested students should register on Moodle (all relevant information will be published there).
