- Interest in problems from neurobiology, that are approached with methods from statistical physics.

- Current Problems in Neurophysics, for instance, spontaneous neural activity, extracellular stimulation of neurons, response to time-dependent stimuli and signal encoding, dynamics of neural networks, role of synaptic short-term plasticity, models of colored noise in neural systems.
