In this module the students should acquire knowledge in statistical physics and quantum statistics. Goal is the understanding of the theoretical relations, the command of the corresponding mathematical tools, and the capability of independently solving problems in this discipline of physics with its characteristic questions.
requirements
Bachelor-level knowledge in thermodynamics, classical mechanics, and quantum mechanics.
